This class is about learning how to
become more creative. We learn
different ways to solve problems,
both visually and verbally. Since

after taking this class you'll know how to
solve that problem.

illustration, graphic design, photography,

learn about the different kinds of creativity
and how to use the same techniques that
creative professionals use to solve visual

We'll start out the class doing a variety of
quick exercises that will help to show you the
different ways people jumpstart their ideas,
both visually and verbally.
We'll use these techniques to work on a
longer term project where tell a story and
create visuals to go a long with it. We will
end up with a "zine" (or home made comic)
of your story and images.

What Will I Need For Class?
Not much! Initially, we will be doing some
quick exercises that involve only pencil
and paper. As we progress towards our
longer project, students are encouraged
to use whatever materials they feel
comfortable with.
